LIbretto Information and brochure style site.

Libretto Digital Publishing

We're always so busy in 2Fluid that our own sites seem to always take a back-seat. But with the recent success of Libretto and the fact that Version 3 is currently live for some clients, we decided that the Libretto brochure site needed a major facelift.

Testimonial

Aaron is one of the few web developers I've ever met who seeks to clarify rather than mystify the subject for clients. Talented, trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with.

— Michael Feeley, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief, Hi-Tech Scotland (Feelgood Media)

Having worked with Aaron for over a year I found him to be hard working, creative and up for a challenge. He was instrumental in developing one of 2Fluid's core products and allowing me to take it market with successful sales following shortly after. Responsive to feedback and market needs it was a pleasure to work with him.

— Steve Plummer, Business Development Manager, Clayton Graham Communications

About Me

Hey, I'm Aaron Bassett a Web Developer based in Glasgow, Scotland. I code standards compliant websites and awesome Rich Internet Applications using (x)HTML, CSS, Javascript and the odd splash of Flash with AS2. I do a lot of work with Javascript & Ajax – mostly using the Prototype framework, with script.aculo.us when effects are required. But I am starting to make the switch to jQuery.

My recent work has included e-commerce sites for big name companies as well as the worlds leading digital publishing solution (I won a couple of awards for that one). Have a look at my portfolio for examples of my work and the clients I have worked for. As well as developing for the web I sometimes write about it for Hi-Tech Magazine, the leading source of Scottish Technology news.

Outside of work I enjoy playing around with my own pet projects. I've written a couple of Twitter bots and am currently working on a Brightkite / Google Maps mashup. In the past my pet projects have been featured in the likes of El Reg and was one of the few people to receive praise from the now defunct uncov.

My Services

Twitter – Witty, Interesting, Awesome, Awe-Inspiring these are just a few of the things people *should* be saying about my Twitter feed.

Last.fm – Your musical compatibility with aaronbassett is Super. Music you have in common includes Ladyhawke, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Rage Against the Machine & Cansei de Ser Sexy.

LinkedIn – Sorta like Facebook. But more professional & less apps.

Del.icio.us – I'm a prolific del.icio.us user, I just need to tidy up my tags a little.
